Keyfuels launches Controlmax online management software

Keyfuels has launched its Controlmax fuel management software.

The solution utilises bespoke and intelligent online software, which has been developed by Keyfuels’ in-house.  It gives fleet managers the ability to control and receive alerts in relation to the fuel usage of their vehicles and drivers in real time, via Keyfuels’ dedicated web portal.

Peter McCarthy, MD at Keyfuels, said: “For any business that is running a fleet of vehicles, fuel represents one of their biggest expenditures.  Keeping control of this can therefore have a major impact on their bottom line.

“Our new Controlmax solution gives fleet managers the opportunity to control where, when and how much fuel drivers can draw in a way that is unprecedented, dramatically increasing their ability to manage fuel costs more effectively and efficiently.”

Controlmax enables fleet managers to create a bespoke set of rules for their fleets, which can then be applied to their account or individual cards dynamically and in real time.  If these rules are compromised, managers will get live alerts, either through email, text or via the Keyfuels website.  The solution also gives them the ability to define if a transaction will be approved or declined.

Rules available include maximum transaction values, maximum fuel spends in a day or week and a ceiling on the number of transactions per day/week.  Managers can also control the number of sites a driver can use each day and the day of the week and the times they are allowed to fill up.

“Keyfuels has been at the forefront of developing solutions for the market that really add value to our customers businesses,” added McCarthy.  “We already offer our customers state-of-the-art Management Information and reporting tools to help them manage their fuel cards more efficiently, as well as offering a number of security measures to control the usage of fuel cards.

“Bringing the same principles online and live is the next logical step.  Controlmax takes what we offer our customers to the next level, it’s a fantastic tool for fleet managers and one which we are really proud to be able to offer.”
