The Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) recognised the training achievements of members at its Fleet 2020 conference yesterday, Wednesday, October 21.

In all, 34 members were recognised for their achievements in gaining ICFM qualifications – 12 new holders of the Introductory Certificate in Car Fleet Management, 16 new holders of the Certificate in Car Fleet Management and six new holders of the Diploma in Car Fleet Management.

Certificate holder, Kelly Butler of Surrey Police also received the Peter Moxon Award for the Training Achiever of the Year.

Paul Hollick, chairman of the ICFM, said; “Our congratulations go out to all 34 achievers. As a not-for-profit education and training organisation, our awards presentation is always a key element of our conference where we publicly recognise individual achievement and rising talent.

“Our accredited education and training programmes make a real difference to the contribution employees make to their organisations by helping improve efficiencies, save costs and ensure compliance. Indeed, this year alone we have captured 361 implemented fleet initiatives resulting from our training programmes.

“In 2015, we have trained more students than ever before. We have held nine Fast Track Intermediate and three Advanced Programme modules, up 26% over last year. And, in terms of course content, the Institute of Leadership and Management has highly praised our courses as evidenced by its glowing testimonial.”
