Lookers Fleet Services has adopted epyx’s 1link Hire Network e-commerce platform to help enhance a range of essential daily rental processes.
Lookers required a flexible platform that could service current and planned future needs and the interface with 1link Service Network, automated invoice validation and processing, plus ease of use, were all key drivers in the decision making process, according to head of fleet services, Andrew Pace.
He said: “The platform means that despite increased volume, a number of essential processes are now faster, more accurate and cheaper to operate. Automated invoice validation and processing is very much the immediate benefit for us.”
The Harrogate-based fleet management and leasing specialist provides services to a wide range of corporate, public sector and NHS fleets across the UK, hiring everything from compact cars to 4x4s and light commercial vehicles.
Pace said: “Essentially, 1link Hire Network will enable us to enhance our current service provision to customers old and new. It is a win-win situation.
