King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has launched a Tusker salary sacrifice scheme to more than 9,800 eligible employees from its 13,000-strong workforce.

The trust is keen to reduce its CO2 emissions by promoting low-emission car use, so Tusker set a cap of 130g/km in order to maximise tax savings while minimising environmental impact.

Employees are also given the choice of three approved carbon off-setting schemes to support, free of charge, in order to ensure that their cars are carbon neutral for the life of the contract.

Providing marketing support for the organisation throughout the implementation of the scheme, Tusker developed a communications campaign to inform trust employees about the scheme.

This incorporated roadshows at three key sites, as well as posters for placement around the site to educate staff members about the benefits on offer to them.
