Trakm8, the telematics and fleet management specialist, has completed the acquisition of Roadsense Technology.

Roadsense is an established supplier of fleet telematics and safety products and provides solutions nationwide to fleets consisting of between one and 1,500 vehicles.

The acquisition comes after Trakm8 recognised the extensive experience of the Roadsense team in the SME sector and therefore acquired the business and its personnel on August 1, 2016.

Roadsense is the third company in a string of recent acquisitions which includes the trade and assets of DCS Systems, and route optimisation and scheduling experts, Route Monkey.

Roadsense’s largest customer is Iceland Foods, to whom Route Monkey currently supply route optimisation software.
