Fix Auto UK adds Kings Norton to bodyshop repair network

Car Care of Kings Norton, Birmingham has joined the Fix Auto bodyshop entwork.

Owned and managed by Phil Jones, the new franchisee has the capacity to repair more than 200 vehicles a month and will operate as Fix Auto Kings Norton.

Geographically, the latest addition to Fix Auto’s growing national branded network will sit alongside the well-established Fix Auto Birmingham East, Fix Auto Birmingham North and Fix Auto Wednesbury repair centres and takes the number of fully-branded Fix Auto bodyshops across the Midlands to 13.

Formed by Phil during the early 1990’s, the business has continually grown and developed ever since and now operates out of an impressive 20,000 sq ft bodyshop spanning three adjoining buildings and is supported by a team of 14 people.

Phil’s son, Paul, is a fellow director of the business and assists with the day-today running of the business.

Phil said: “While we have been steadily growing and expanding our services, I’m at that time of my life where I am seriously thinking about the future direction of the business. For me, Fix Auto UK has grown and developed into an organisation that will clearly be integral to the future of our industry and I wanted to be part of that.”

He added: “We have been part of Fix Auto’s second tier support system for several months and we have enjoyed the level of professionalism and support the team provide. For me, Fix Auto UK will not only help secure and future proof the business but help me to take it to another level.”

Ian Pugh, of Fix Auto UK, said: “Fix Auto UK is growing at a rapid pace and I am pleased to welcome Phil and his team at Fix Auto Kings Norton on board. This appointment adds further capacity for our insurer clients and strengthens our network in the UK’s second largest city.”
