Leasing and salary sacrifice firm Tusker has reorganised and restructured its rental service, introducing an online system and new account managers.

The revised offering includes flexi to long term leases, as well as personal hire. It also adds a special preferential tariff for the most popular vehicles if they are required for more than 28 days.

A team of account managers will review trends and track savings, as well as managing damage or fuel excesses.  The team is managed by Kathleen Whittam who joins Tusker from Hitachi where she was head of the rental division and prior to that, Europcar who she was with for nine years.

The business has developed an online system which features a tailored daily rental booking tool which can be pre-set with each client’s own booking terms.

Kathleen Whittam, head of vehicle rental for Tusker, said:  “Tusker has always put the driver first and built its on-line systems around that premise.  It was a logical step to apply that same treatment to our daily rental offering.  It means that we can offer the right kind of vehicle, at the right time, while managing the costs on behalf of clients, keeping everyone happy.”

We have access to over a quarter of a million cars across the UK and even as far afield as Africa, the USA and the Middle East.  It really is a substantial network with superb availability.”
