Middlesborough-based Minster Self Drive has signed a new deal to use the Epyx 1link Hire Network e-commerce platform.

Started in York in 2005, the family-run company now has branches in Wakefield, Middlesbrough and Sunderland, and is keen to identify opportunities to expand further.

This ambition for growth is the key motivator for adopting the Epyx platform, which will enable Minster to reach a large pool of potential fleet customers.

Marc Lees, business development manager for Epyx’s 1link platforms, said: “Minster is a growing daily rental company and certainly one to watch for the future, with excellent potential. We are pleased to welcome them to the platform.”

1link Hire Network is a leading rental platform in the fleet sector, adopted by more than 40 vehicle hire suppliers working with thousands of fleet operators of all sizes across the UK.

For purchasers of daily rental services such as major fleets, it provides online management of daily rental, including multi-supplier quotations and subsequent booking.

For daily rental suppliers, it provides access to new customers as well as electronically validated bookings.
