Aston Barclay’s Leeds auction centre has been named LeasePlan’s Best Value Provider for its performance in Q4 2016 and for the year as a whole.

The Leeds centre was ranked first in value for an unmatched three times during the year, and was consistently ranked highly throughout Q4 when measured on value, topping the tables of those sites audited by LeasePlan in November and December. Over the Q4 period, these results were closely followed by the provider’s Westbury centre.

Aston Barclay’s West Yorkshire centre was also the only measured site to achieve an average conversion rate of more than 80% in Q4 2016, while the lowest average number of days on-site outperformed its competitors.

Westbury performed well for its whole-year efforts, ensuring Aston Barclay occupied the top-two positions for Q4 and 2016, when measured on value.

In terms of service, Leeds also performed well in Q4 2016, achieving an overall platinum rating when measured on admin, valeting, line-up and timing. This led to the centre being named the joint top performer for service of all LeasePlan’s audited sites in Q4 2016.

Aston Barclay's Prees Heath and Westbury sites also achieved gold status overall when measured on service in Q4, achieving platinum ratings for their valeting, line-up and timing.

Martin Potter, group operations director at Aston Barclay, said: “Our dedicated employees at Leeds and across the Group continue to perform extremely well, enabling Aston Barclay to secure LeasePlan’s top-two positions when measured on value, both in Q4 and for 2016. This, alongside our impressive service offering, demonstrates our ability to consistently perform against any competitor.”

Paul Mason, LeasePlan’s general manager, added: “We witnessed outstanding value and service performances by Aston Barclay Leeds, as well as strong service performances by the Prees Heath and Westbury sites overall for 2016, to fully merit this recognition for the Group.”
