Remarketing firm ADESA, the Auto Dealers Exchange Services of America, is launching its 'upstream remarketing' system in the UK, that allows the remarketing process to begin before the vehicle is fully defleeted.

Through a growing partnership with Arval and newly formed relationship with Motability Operations, the Upstream platform will now offer a significantly increased volume of fresh used vehicles daily.

This will provide dealers with a reliable source of quality stock with a good mix of age, mileage and specification supported by accurate descriptions and quality images.

ADESA’s Upstream technology is built on the TradeRev mobile app platform which enables vendors to appraise and upload vehicles for sale within minutes.

It also allows buyers to take part in daily e-auctions with live bidding on a broad variety of vehicles for sale.

Jonathan Holland, managing director of ADESA in the UK, said: “ADESA's ability to offer these much sought-after used cars gives dealers a first opportunity to access a rich mix of quality stock to meet customer demand. Our model is a proven and credible alternative to more traditional remarketing channels and provides buyers with a cost effective, convenient and efficient solution.”
