Audatex has launched the most advanced version of its vehicle damage assessment and estimate solution Audaenterprisegold 4.0.

Designed to improve the efficiency of vehicle damage assessment and communications for insurers and bodyshops, Audaenterprisegold leverages the widest vehicle data coverage to ensure more accurate and consistent estimation and accident repair. With an unlimited multi-user access to assessment data, organisations can streamline communication and improve workflow to ensure greater customer satisfaction.

Enhancements to the software include a repair optimisation tool within its AudaGraphics screen, which allows customers to create and save customised repair parameters. These are applied automatically to every assessment to ensure a consistent approach to the repair method decision.

By previewing the parts replacement and repair costs, users can quickly review and change the selected method when an alternative becomes available. This offers profitability decision support for bodyshops and reduces repair cycle time through correct repair methodology, says Audatex.

The upgrade features an additional Cap valuation service, which allows bodyshops to retrieve a vehicle valuation from Cap HPI at the click of a button.

More accurate, right-first-time estimates and repair costs can also be achieved through an improved cost-calculation feature and parts composition tool.

Using the latest research in repair costs, these functions allow for better parts management and ensure more controlled costs by giving technicians operating on the shop floor instant access to tips and advice from the vehicle manufacturer.

In the future, users selecting a salvage code will be required to have completed particular training to obtain the appropriate qualifications, in line with the Association of British Insurers’ initiative to provide more information to end consumers about their vehicle.

To ensure future compliance, insurers can now enter their Qualification ID when selecting a salvage category and can choose from an updated list of values within their Total Loss Details screen to enable safer and more accurate entries.

David Shepherd, regional managing director of Audatex UKSA, said: “The features available within the latest upgrade are designed to support insurers and bodyshops in utilising the latest technologies to deliver the best services for their customers, whilst laying the foundations for future enhancements to the platform.

“The world of motor insurance is continuously evolving and this upgrade will allow our technology to innovate for the future.”
