HRUX and BCF Wessex are to collaborate on company car strategies for large employers.

The decision was made after both businesses realised they could combine client bases.

A spokesperson said: “Our two businesses both operate in the company car advisory space but we have different and complementary solutions and client bases, and the benefits of working together seem clear.”

High tax rates and complicated rules have seen “unprecedented demand” for support from employers on car policies.

The announcement stated: “At the time of writing – between the two businesses – we have five major reviews underway ranging from a fleet of 12 cars up to one with more than 3,000.

“Really good advisors in this space are rare – and we have five of the best.

"Together we’ve nearly 100 years’ experience advising large employers around car policy and we’ve a proven track record of bringing new ideas and new technology to market and want to bring this capability to a wider audience.”
