JCT600 has won a contract with Silverstone to supply its fleet of track, safety, security and catering vehicles.

The leasing and fleet management company will look after the race circuit’s fleet of 200 vehicles for the next four years.

So far, JCT600 has supplied 38 new vehicles to Silverstone, including 21 Mitsubishi L200s.

Lee Thomas, procurement and contracts manager for Silverstone Circuits, said: “We were extremely impressed by the amount of hard work and time JCT600 put into helping us to choose the best vehicles for our needs.  The on-site demo day they organised enabled personnel from our various departments to try out a number of makes and models for themselves, and the company has continued to provide a high level of personal service.”

JCT600 approached Silverstone last summer to discuss the management of its fleet and was among a handful of leasing companies chosen to pitch for its business.

Paul Walters, managing director for JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions, added: “With JCT600’s racing heritage, we are, of course, proud to partner with Silverstone Circuits and for their on-site vehicles to bear our livery.  I understand we were chosen because of our ability to provide a truly bespoke package, ensuring that every vehicle is suitable for its particular purpose.

“We were also able to work within Silverstone’s time frame, with the vehicles ordered, liveried and delivered within just three months.”

JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions is a stand-alone business within JCT600.  It operates a fleet of 7,000 vehicles, predominantly serving SMEs, typically with fleets of 5-200 vehicles, supplying all brands of cars, vans and mini buses.
