Nexus Vehicle Rental has updated its on-the-move offering, further developing its mobile site to help streamline the operations of its customers.

The mobile responsive web application is designed for end-user drivers to book and extend rentals on the move, from their phones, enabling greater efficiency right the way through the booking and management journey.

Nexus Vehicle Rental has continued to invest in in-house developed technology to provide solutions to problems faced by fleets and business drivers.

Aimed at end-users often travelling for work and lacking access to computers, Nexus’ updated app aims to provide a streamlined solution, which is intuitive, simpler, quicker and more user friendly than its predecessor, and more consistent with its desktop system than ever before.

The app remembers booking habits and offers live traffic updates to enable time savings as well as providing an additional customer service contact point for clients.

CEO of Nexus Vehicle Rental, David Brennan, said: “We consistently act on feedback from our clients so that we can understand how we can help their operations run more efficiently.

“As we are constantly developing our software, including with the introduction of a new Management Information suite earlier this year, we knew there was demand for an even more effective mobile offering, for users who are on the move and without desktop access. This updated mobile site provides greater functionality and flexibility for end-users, which allows clients to further streamline their operations from top to bottom.”

Nexus’ IRIS software provides access to more than 550,000 vehicles across more than 2,000 locations across the UK, enabling customers to make bookings within 30 seconds at the click of a mouse or via smartphone.

Its innovation and growth through technology saw the firm recognised as one of the Top 15 Fastest Growing Larger Tech Companies in the North of England and Scotland at the Northern Tech Awards this year.
