Ford says that Fleet Live 2018 will provide it with the perfect platform to speak to fleet decision-makers about the major issues effecting the industry.

Free to attend, Fleet Live 2018 takes place at at the NEC Birmingham on October 9-10, where Ford will will be displaying the all-new Focus and the Tourneo Custom.

Owen Gregory, Ford of Britain fleet director, said: “As we go through an unprecedented amount of change in our industry, the Fleet Live event is a great opportunity for us to engage with a wide audience of decision-makers and influencers on matters that affect us now, such as the move to WLTP, as well as the big issues that will increasingly affect us over the coming months and years.”

Gregor says it is essential that fleet operators build a solid understanding of how electrification can effectively perform distinct roles on fleets and how connectivity can not only improve the safety, effectiveness and comfort of drivers, but can increasingly be used to improve vehicle operating efficiency and effectiveness.

He continued: “We look forward to listening and learning more about the issues on the minds of fleet decision-makers as well as sharing the Ford point of view on these important questions.”

Fleet Live 2018 will address both the operational and strategic demands of running company cars, vans and heavy commercial vehicles.

A prestigious line-up of expert speakers will deliver deep insight into issues such as:

  • The adoption and implementation of zero emission vehicles
  • The implications of WLTP emissions regulations on fleet choices
  • The practical applications for connected and autonomous vehicles
  • Mobility solution alternatives
  • Commercial vehicle compliance
  • Vehicle and driver safety

A series of seminars will also address fleet responsibilities through the prisms of procurement, HR, and tax and finance.

Exhibitors at the two-day event include almost all of the UK’s major leasing and fleet management companies; major OEM fleet suppliers; and leading fleet suppliers and support companies. For more details, see www.fleet-live.co.uk.
