Davis will be revealing its new fleet tool, Fleet File to attendees at Fleet Live on October 9-10.

Following calls from clients to introduce a simple vehicle data storage solution, Davis is now able to store critical vehicle information giving organisations visibility and control of their corporate fleet.

Fleet File will be exclusively previewed at Fleet Live at the NEC, a two-day expo aimed at the fleet management community.

Licence Check’s managing director Richard Brown said: “Fleet File is at this stage an entry level repository to record and look up V5C detail with added value services such as MID posting for vehicles on and off fleet and has the added feature of being able to record accident history.”

Fleet File can check and store all relevant vehicle registration details (vehicle age, tax, MOT, CO2 emissions) and allows business-critical documents such as fleet insurance policies and driver handbooks to be uploaded.

Additionally Fleet File will have the function to post a vehicle to the Motor Insurance Database (MID).

It will also record accident history – giving organisations a comprehensive vehicle record.
