CD Auction Group, part of the Arctos Holdings portfolio, which also includes SMH Fleet Solutions, has opened three new return sites for processing cars and vans before they go into an on-line sale.

Located in Bolton, Gloucester and Thurleigh, the new sites offer rental, leasing and corporate sector clients access to localised defleet services including, vehicle inspections, on-site bodyshop and valeting facilities as well as high-quality photography suites that ensure clear and detailed appraisal pictures of every vehicle sold online.

Andy Brown (pictured), managing director of CD Auction Group, said: “The development of the new auction processing sites means that we can offer our customers greater choice and a more efficient online auction service.

“Through central management, the remote sites will continue to provide high-quality and consistent processing of vehicles as they go through our remarketing cycle. However, customers will now have the option to have vehicles delivered to depots nearer to them so saving time and keep logistics costs to a minimum.

“We are also pleased to have invested in high-quality photo booths to maintain our unique position of offering superior imagery that showcases exactly the condition of the vehicle, hence maintaining the consistency of our vehicle inspection reports that our buyers rely on to make their buying decisions.”

Corby based CD Auction Group has more than 28 years’ experience of remarketing and managing vehicles and this expansion in the company’s operational footprint will help the business to grow and develop further following the recent acquisition by Arctos Holdings, it said.
