Shell Multi-Network fuel cards will now be accepted at Morrisons filling stations across the UK, following a new agreement between to the two companies.

The announcement signals Shell’s first move into the UK supermarket space, enabling it to extend its offering to existing and new fleet customers.

Fleets can now use Shell Multi-Network Fuel Cards at more than 3,800 filling stations nationwide. This marks a 10% overall network growth.

Sarah Llewelyn, head of fleet solutions UK at Shell, said: “We are very excited to be partnering with Morrisons to launch this network expansion.  For our fuel card customers, having access to a network that is conveniently accessible is pivotal to the performance and efficiency of their fleet. Not only does it mean diversions to find a refuelling station should be reduced, but also that drivers can take well-earned rest stops at practical places to recharge for the journey ahead.

“This partnership reinforces our commitment to improving network acceptance for customers of all fleet types and is a reflection of the continued advancements we are making to our fuel card solution.”

The partnership follows a series of recent investments into the Shell Card offering, including the Shell Go+ rewards programme, the Jamie Oliver Deli by Shell range and the new Carbon Offsetting Service.
