In the spirit of transparency, Fleet News would like to update our guests about tomorrow evening's Fleet News Awards.

We have received a number of late cancellations, but we are still expecting more than 800 guests to join us at the Grosvenor Hotel for an evening of fabulous entertainment and to celebrate the very best in the fleet sector.

We fully understand the reasons for some guests being unable to now attend, but we have been delighted by the tremendous support we have received from the many clients who are still able to join us.

We would like to reiterate our earlier message to guests that your health is of paramount importance to Fleet News and our parent company Bauer Media and we continue to closely monitor the situation and are following the official Government advice about the Coronavirus.

Following consultation with experts, we are taking all necessary sanitary and health measures.

We are also working closely with the Grosvenor Hotel, which has provided the following statement: “We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the local health departments for their latest updates and guidelines regarding the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

"The wellbeing of our guests and associates is our paramount priority and we will continue to take the recommended preventative health and safety measures, including hand sanitizers in the washrooms and cloakrooms within The Great Room and Ballroom for your event.

“The Fleet Awards is very important to us and we would like to reassure you, your Sponsors and Guests of the specific arrangements that we can jointly put in place for the prevention of the spread of Coronavirus during your event.”
