TMC named as supplier of Crown Commercial Service's framework

TMC

TMC (The Miles Consultancy) has been awarded supplier status on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework to provide fleet data and risk management solutions.

The contract award is for TMC’s new product Data+, which consolidates, analyses and audits data from every fleet, fuel, telematics and travel expense category. TMC says that Data+ insight will help the public sector facilitate effective fleet management for their vehicle, fuel and telematics suppliers.

Paul Hollick, managing director at TMC, explained: “With Data+, we are excited to be named as a supplier on Lot 2 of the new CSS Telematics Framework. We hope to use this opportunity to help organisations analyse data streams from all their supplier portfolio. This will help the public sector support their whole vehicle operation, optimise whole life costs and generate effective risk management activities.

“With this data, fleet managers can shape and deploy their strategies to optimise their fleet and significantly reduce their costs.”

TMC’s application programme interfaces (APIs) allows telematics, fleet and fuel data to be acquired from providers and mapped into an understandable format.

For the public sector, this will ensure organisations can apply their own individual parameters and rules in a consistent way, irrespective of the hardware solution or supplier they use, says TMC.

The CCS is a public procurement organisation in the UK, that supports the public sector in procuring common goods and services.
