Moriarty is a former fleet and compliance manager at Skanska and risk director at Arriva Bus, as well as being an advisory board member of Fleet and Mobility Live.

Colin Hartley, managing director at Driive, said: “We are delighted to welcome Alison on board in her new role as fleet risk director.

“As part of our planned growth and expansion strategy, Alison will provide a yet another layer of expertise to our company, allowing us to further promote our activities within the commercial fleet, insurance and insurance broker arenas.”

Moriarty added: “I am delighted to be joining Driive to pursue my passion of improving the safety of our roads.

“I am looking forward to working with the team to help fleets recognise and reduce their risk and reduce collisions.”

She concluded: “The current situation has made us all realise just how important the transportation industry is to the economy and it’s an opportune moment to make sure that our drivers and fleets are the safest that they can possibly be."
