UK’s top leasing companies at Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live 2020

Some of the leading leasing companies in the UK are supporting this year’s Fleet & Mobility Live, in its free-to-attend virtual format.

Alphabet, Athlon, Grosvenor, Hitachi Capital, LeasePlan, TCH, Volkswagen Finance Services and Zenith, plus ARI, which is breaking into the funding sector, have confirmed their attendance at the event.

Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live will be held across three days (November 17, 18 and 19) and will feature the fleet sector’s leading experts providing advice, guidance and best practice on the topics affecting fleet decision-makers.

Stephen Briers, editor-in-chief at Fleet News, said: “We’re delighted to have so many of the top FN50 leasing companies exhibiting at Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live.

“Their involvement in the fleet sector is becoming increasingly central as the market moves towards mobility solutions and their products evolve beyond merely funding vehicles to providing a full management service. I’m sure there will be plenty for fleets to discuss.”

Among the exclusive features at the virtual event will be a special 'EV & Hybrid Showroom' which will bring to life the latest electric models from the UK’s leading vehicle manufacturers.

Some of the fleet industry’s most popular manufacturers will also be supporting Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live.

The online experience will feature 24 seminar sessions providing fleets with insight they need when formulating their 2021 strategies.

Each day will include two sessions focusing on electric vehicles (EVs), two on mobility and four on operational excellence, with topics ranging from safety and cost efficiency to fleet procurement.

Across two main exhibition halls, 24 supplier partners will showcase their latest products and services for fleet decision-makers on enhanced interactive stands with video, live chat and demonstrations of new technology.

Each hall will also feature eight stand-only standard exhibition partners offering additional networking opportunities for delegates.

At the event, visitors and exhibitors will be able to communicate through live chat, participate in live Q&As, ‘visit’ branded booths, and find out about industry-leading technology solutions.

Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live 2020: The virtual fleet expo

Video: Fleet News editor-in-chief Stephen Briers and events director Chris Lester introduce the 2020 virtual event and give a preview of what it will look like.

The annual event was due to take place at the NEC, Birmingham on October 6-7 but as a result of the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and after consultation with the visitor advisory board, Fleet News has taken the decision to hold an online event in November instead.

Among the exclusive features at the virtual event will be a special EV & Hybrid Showroom which will bring to life the latest electric models with interactive displays that will enable you to get up close to the UK’s best fleet suppliers.

Visitors and exhibitors will be able to communicate through live chat, participate in live Q&As, ‘visit’ branded booths, and find out about industry-leading technology solutions.

The decision to go virtual was made easier by the fact that around 40% of fleets already have, or expect to shortly have, a company travel ban that would prevent them from attending live events this year, while a similar proportion did not anticipate attending live events until sometime in 2021.
