Licence Bureau, part of TTC Group, has surpassed the five million driver licence check milestone.

The company hit the four million mark 14 months ago in September 2019, whereas its previous million checks had taken 20 months.

The company says it processed its latest million checks in record time, six months sooner than the previous million was bridged.

Steve Pinchen, sales director at Licence Bureau, said, “Reaching such a milestone, and in record time, is a truly positive sign that fleet operators continue to embrace road safety by ensuring their drivers are compliant - even during such challenging times.

“The achievement is testament to the people, processes and systems we have in place that continue to develop year-on-year.

"The acquisition by TTC Group in March has not only served to strengthen all these areas but has really propelled us forward as an operation.”

Earlier in the year, Licence Bureau praised the fleet sector for its focus on driver safety and compliance despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

During July, Licence Bureau broke its own record with 85,000 checks being completed.

The company also undertook 200,000 checks in a quarter.
