BCA is staging four used van and car online auctions over Christmas and New Year, while Aston Barclay has announced two online used car sales during the festive period.

BCA is holding online sales on Tuesday (December 29), Wednesday (December 30) and Thursday (December 31), with a further sale planned for Saturday, January 2.

Both cars and light commercials will be on offer with vendors including UKCGR, BCA Outsourced Solutions, Group 1 Automotive, Jardine, Lookers, Bristol Street Motors, JCT 600, Moneybarn, Lloyd Motor Group, Renault Retail, Black Horse and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.

BCA’s chief operating officer for UK Remarketing, Stuart Pearson, said: “We have seen strong demand for stock from our buyers as we approach the Christmas period and expect this to continue into the New Year.

“Buyers can bid via BCA Online or the BCA Buyer app, settle their account online and arrange collection via our online Click and Collect service. Even more fresh stock will be available on our Bid Now/Buy Now channels.”

Zenith is holding its annual festive online auction on Wednesday (December 30), with more 150 used cars being sold by Aston Barclay.

The stock comprises premium used cars with V5s and a full-service history, with 90% of stock grades 1-3.

Aston Barclay will also be hosting another virtual sale on the Tuesday (December 29), with 150 used cars are being offered by The Car Buying Group.

Martin Potter, Aston Barclay’s MD, customer, said: “Following the November lockdown many dealers have been very busy during December.

“With two e-Live auctions and our bid and buy stock available 24/7, we are well placed to help dealers’ source and replace any stock sold over Christmas,”

“We hope it will help buyers and vendors finish off 2020 and start 2021 on a high.”
