Hudson Kapel (HK) has invested £3.5 million in refurbishment and remarketing facilities across its three sites to expand capacity and choice within the UK fleet sector.
The investment has delivered a range of technology-driven enhancements, including a new digital live auction and salvage platform.
Advanced 360-degree imaging systems, capable of capturing commercial vehicles, have also been installed to improve accuracy and speed in vehicle assessments.
New green rooms are also streamlining preparation and inspection workflows, while an upgraded workshop management system is helping to reduce delays and improve operational efficiency.
Simon Withey, director at the Hudson Kapel group of companies, said: “The new investment by HK is designed to provide industry-leading workflows that will reduce the time between de-fleet and remarketing.
“We’ve completely reinvented the process, stripping away the bureaucracy and bloat that has crept into the industry.”
He added: “HK has ambitious growth plans, and we’ll do this by redefining expectations in the sector.”
HK serves customers nationwide from three sites across the UK in Thurleigh, Worcester, and Throckmorton.
It operates 75,000 sq ft of workshop space and 61 acres of vehicle storage.
