Lightfoot names David Savage as new chief revenue officer

Lightfoot has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of David Savage to the newly created role of chief revenue officer.

Savage brings 20 years of leadership experience driving commercial growth across the mobility, automotive and technology sectors, with his most recent role as vice-president at Geotab.

He has also worked at Freenow, where he drove double-digit growth and expanded operations significantly.

His appointment comes as Lightfoot gears up for multi-market expansion.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Lightfoot at such a pivotal time – our plans for growth across the continent are ambitious and, with our proven technology and demonstrable results, I know we can make significant progress on reducing risk on the roads and supporting decarbonisation efforts for European fleets.

“Our plans extend even further afield too, and I am looking forward to leading the global expansion, reinforcing the key safety, emission reduction and cost saving features that have made Lightfoot such a unique and highly successful company in the UK.”

CEO Paul Hollick added: “Bringing on board such a knowledgeable, experienced and skilled professional as David is a huge boost to the Lightfoot team as we ramp up our international expansion, while also continuing to partner with more fleets in UK – to add to the hundreds who already use our technology.

“Businesses take decarbonisation and safety very seriously and we know our innovative offering will continue to provide fleet operators with the data and insight to build safer and more efficient vehicle operations.

“We have achieved so much as a business in the past few years and I look forward to David contributing to our further success.”
