For the third time in five weeks, BCA Belle Vue Manchester has set a new volume sales record for LCVs.

The regular weekly BCA Belle Vue Commercials sale sold 447 units on August 2, beating previous records set on July 19 (428 units sold) and July 5 (407 units sold).

BCA Belle Vue holds one of the biggest light commercial sales in the country, regularly attracting entries of up to 500 or more vehicles.

The weekly sale is now second in volume only to BCA Blackbushe, which regularly sells in excess of 500 units every week.

Vehicles sold on the day ranged from late year, low mileage models, through to hard-worked, older, higher mileage examples.

BCA’s LCV operations director Duncan Ward said: “Belle Vue Commercials continues to set the bar ever higher with yet another record-breaking performance.

“This run of record results underlines the current strength of the market and the demand from professional buyers for good quality commercial stock.

“BCA can handle these significant volumes for corporate vendors, with a structured physical and digital sales programme that brings buyers and sellers together in the most time- and cost-effective manner.”
