Sofico has launched a fully integrated software as a service (SaaS) solution to help customers speed up transactions, automate processes and capture information.

Miles eDocs allows users to digitally receive, complete, sign and submit documents and can be used for quotation documents, vehicle purchase documents and incident documents for drivers or suppliers.

Sofico said the latest addition to Sofico’s Miles Enterprise Suite software solution is intended to automate information capture and processing for smoother transactions for Sofico’s group of automotive customers, including leasing companies, captive finance companies, OEMs and mobility providers.

Piet Maes, co-founder and chief technology officer at Sofico, said: “The world has changed, so too have the expectations of mobility customers.

“Customers now demand the means to transact seamlessly, swiftly and securely.

“Miles eDocs enables us to offer tools, and opportunities for growth, essential to our customers in this age of digital automation.”

The digital platform allows single or multiple people to securely sign documents online, on any device, with tamper-seal traceability.

Email attachments are replaced by secure application programming interface (API) communications between the end users, the Miles eDocs gateway, and the Miles back-office, to help ensure transaction protection. Document access can also be restricted with SMS, two-factor authentication.

Sofico’s Miles Enterprise software platform is being implemented by Kinto Europe, the recently launched joint venture between Toyota Motor Europe and Toyota Financial Services, to manage all its vehicle usage transactions across Europe.
