Leasys UK has launched an LCV damage waiver aimed at helping customers avoid end-of-contract damage charges.

Under the initiative, the multi-brand leasing company will waive the sums it would normally charge for vehicle damage, up to a certain amount, with the initiative operating within the BVRLA industry-recognised standard for fair wear & tear.

The offer is available to private drivers and operators of contract hire, leased and financed light commercial vehicles on all orders placed until December 31, 2023.

It will apply to LCV customers who opt for its full maintenance package of benefits, and covers hybrid and electric vehicles as well as ICE.

Matthew Boswell, managing director of Leasys UK, said: “In these strained times when business and household budgets are tight, our new end-of-contract damage waiver could benefit thousands of van drivers.

“De-hiring vehicles can be a stressful time and it is pleasing to remove some of the hassle and financial impact of the process.

“There’s no doubt the new waiver brings additional peace of mind.

“Our team of specialists offers their full support to our customers to help them to avoid charges, and we always suggest obtaining a copy of the BVRLA Fair Wear & Tear Guide too.”
