The true fleet market in the UK saw a drop of 0.8% in June compared to the same month last year, according to Dataforce.

Of the five countries analysed, the UK was the only one to experience a drop with Italy and Spain both posting double digit growth (up 17.3% and 11.6% respectively). Germany was up 9.7% while France saw growth of 8.6%.

Despite the drop there was still good news for the UK true fleet market. Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Toyota achieved increases of + 31.7%, + 23.4% and + 20.7% respectively. Within the Toyota brand, the Yaris reclaimed the number one spot it lost to the Aygo in June last year with almost double the registrations or an increase of 85% over the previous month figures.

Jaguar meanwhile has also had good news with the F-Pace increasing its stride and achieving a generous registration increase over the previous month figures.

With the UK market braced for the impact from the EU referendum, next month may well be a slightly different story, Dataforce believes.
