Prices for Alfa Romeo’s all-new rear-wheel drive Giulia saloon have been revealed, with models costing from £29,180.
Fleet News drove the Giulia last month - dubbed a ‘true Alfa Romeo’, it benefits from perfect 50/50 weight distribution and distinctive Italian styling.
UK versions come with a choice of five trim levels and four engines all mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
All Giulia’s are fitted with a host of active safety systems, including Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Brake, an Integrated Brake System and Lane Departure Warning.
The Giulia has been awarded a five star Euro NCAP rating, with a 98% protection result for adult occupants – making it the highest score ever achieved by a car.
Rounding out the entry Giulia level trim are 16-inch alloy wheels, LED rear lights, dual-zone climate control, Alfa DNA rotary driving mode selector, UConnect 6.5-inch infotainment system with DAB plus Bluetooth, an eight speaker audio system, rear parking sensors and cruise control. Only one engine is available with this trim, the 200bhp 2.0-litre turbo petrol.
The Super trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels and a dual chrome exhaust tip, 3D navigation with seven inch TFT display, as well as leather and cloth seat trims in three colour options. The 2.2-litre JTDM-2 diesel engine is additionally available with either 150bhp or 180bhp. Prices for the Super start at £30,750 for the 150bhp version.
For an extra £245 the Tecnica adds useful features for the business user, including power seats, climate pack (cooled glove box, rear air vents and air quality system) and privacy glass. It also adds a driver assistance pack featuring front parking sensors and rear view camera.
For drivers wanting an even sportier presence, the Speciale features 18-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlamps, sports front and rear bumpers and red brake calipers. Inside the cabin, the Giulia Speciale has aluminium pedals, heated and powered (front) leather sports seats and a heated steering wheel.
The top-of-the-range Quadrifoglio is powered by a 2.9-litre 510bhp bi-turbo V6 petrol engine, allowing it to reach 60mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Costing £59,000, this level adds leather and alcantara upholstered sports seats, sports steering wheel with red ignition button, carbon fibre inserts for the interior and aerodynamic exterior spoilers.
In addition, it features technical gear designed specifically to maximise dynamic performance including: an Active Aero Splitter system, DNA Pro selector with Race mode that communicates with the Chassis Domain Control system and Torque Vectoring.
The new Alfa Romeo Giulia range will go on sale in the UK later this year.

Not sure on the pricing for the new Giulia. Very good looking but it should never be priced like an Audi or BMW. I guess the high discounts will be released very shortly when orders are low. On top of it the dealer network still isn't doing a good job to their current customers.
