Alfa Romeo has added a Sport trim level to its Giulietta range, with CO2 emissions starting from 99g/km.

The new equipment grade features a number of 'sporty' exterior styling features such as 17-inch wheels, side skirts and rear privacy glass as well as a large exhaust and fog lights.

The interior includes dark headlining, which standard technology includes climate control, cruise control and five-inch Uconnect multimedia system with Uconnect Live services.

It comes with six airbags, the Q2 electronic differential and Dynamic Steering Torque (DST), as well as the electronic stability control with Antislip Regulation (ASR) and Hill Holder.

The Giulietta Sport is available with the 120PS 1.6 JTDM turbodiesel engine with CO2 emissions of 99g/km and fuel economy of 74.3mpg on the combined cycle, as well as the 120PS 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine, which returns 45.6mpg on the combined cycle and emits 144g/km of CO2.
