Honda has announced that Rebecca Stead has moved to the role of head of network development, responsible for cars, motorcycles and power product divisions.

Stead has spent 19 years working for Honda (UK) and most recently led the corporate affairs and events team, after spending 12 years in sales operations.

Philip Crossman, Honda (UK) managing director, said: “Rebecca will ensure that all business areas are in the best shape to meet the competitive environment they operate within.

“Customer preferences and trends are rapidly changing with routes to market quickly evolving.

“The reform of our individual franchises and quality of our representation is core to ensuring we are ready to embrace developing market conditions.”

A raft of new product will be heading for UK dealers this year and includes a new robot mower, a TT Fireblade special and black edition Fireblade, as well as a return to the Honda supercar, the highly anticipated NSX.

Stead said: “I’m very much looking forward to developing and supporting the networks as Honda (UK) looks to grow its business in all sectors.”
