Darren Sinclair and Jonathan Williams have joined Cox Automotive UK in senior roles aiming to drive growth within its digital and media businesses.

Sinclair joins to head up the digital marketing business and will drive and execute the strategic plans to streamline and grow the businesses of manufacturers, franchise and independent dealers through vehicle retailing.

He was most recently chief operating officer for The Property Software Group, a provider of SaaS and desktop software for estate agents, where he grew revenues, developed new customer propositions and led operational change.

Prior to that, Sinclair spent more than 20 years at Auto Trader, where he held director positions across sales, service and operations, ultimately becoming digital operations director.

Williams will explore new product opportunities that will broaden and differentiate the Motors.co.uk proposition to both dealers and consumers.

Before joining Cox Automotive, Williams previously held various senior roles within Auto Trader UK for 15 years, most recently as group marketing director where he was responsible for the consumer growth of the digital platforms and successful transition from print to online.

Both Sinclair and Williams will report into Martin Forbes, managing director of Cox Automotive UK’s retail and media businesses.
