FMG has further strengthened its operating board with the internal appointment of head of operations John Keeton to the newly-formed role of operations director.

Keeton brings exceptional knowledge and expertise to complement the existing board, having been with the business since 2006, says the fleet incident management company.

In his new role, he will direct and guide FMG’s operational performance in the efficient delivery of outsourced end-to-end incident management services to major leasing providers, fleet insurers and brokers and direct fleets.

FMG CEO Mark Chessman said: “John has consistently demonstrated his value to our business through high performance, integrity and strong results. He brings to the role a wealth of operational knowledge and experience within FMG, combined with a clear vision of the organisation’s operational performance for the future.”

In a further change to the leadership team, sales and marketing director Harvey Stead is taking on the role of commercial director, with responsibility for all customer relationships and customer service delivery.

Chessman said: “These internal appointments ensure we retain key knowledge and experience whilst underlining our commitment to delivering exceptional service levels.

“Our new operating board structure will assist FMG’s continued growth by creating the optimum balance between customer, operational and commercial focus across the business.”

FMG’s incident management proposition has evolved over recent years, to include a number of new services designed specifically for fleet insurers and brokers. This has led to FMG’s appointment to several major new contracts over the past twelve months across a range of sectors including retail, leasing and insurance.
