Jaama has paid tribute to business analyst John Machin, who died suddenly at the age of 31.

He passed away on April 18. His funeral will take place on Friday, May 12, at 10:30am at Fradley Crematorium (Lichfield and District Crematorium), Lichfield.

Martin Evans, managing director of Jaama, said: “John was a great friend, great employee and one of the nicest people you could wish to meet.

"He had been an integral part of the Jaama family since September 2009 and he will be greatly missed by us all on a personal and professional level.”

Machin leaves a widow, Fiona - his wife of 12 years - and two young children.

Evans said: “Our sincerest condolences and love are with John’s wife and children and all of his family and friends at this sad time.”

Machin started his career at software provider Jaama as a support analyst, but most recently worked as a business analyst.

He joined Jaama from holding a position as network support analyst at AT&T. A former rugby union player, John represented Warwickshire and the England Development squad and had trials with top Aviva Premiership outfit Leicester Tigers before being forced to retire through injury.
