Fleet risk management company DriverMetrics has appointed Richard Hill as its new managing director.

Hill, who was managing director of Peak Performance and head of risk management at the RAC, has advised a wide range of leading UK and international brands on reducing fleet risk during his 25-year career in the sector.

Nick Rowley, executive chairman of DriverMetrics, told Fleet News: “I could not be more delighted at the appointment of Richard Hill as managing director of DriverMetrics.

“Rich has a wealth of experience in the market place in general but even more significantly for me has worked with the team at DriverMetrics over many years and is uniquely qualified to drive the commercial business forward.

“The company is growing fast both in the UK and internationally and I have every confidence that Rich will lead the team to ever greater success.”

Hill said that, having been associated with DriverMetrics for more than 12 years, he was absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to lead the business into its next stage of growth.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for DriverMetrics and I am confident that we can continue to grow, not just here in the UK but internationally and build upon the successes of 2017,” he continued.

“I look forward to working with our customers and business partners at such an exciting time, as we prepare to launch the latest version of our award-winning driver profiling, e-learning and coaching programmes.”

Hill’s appointment coincides with the appointment of Kelly Robbins as national account manager. Robbins has 15 years’ experience in the automotive sector, and will focus on working to help DriverMetrics UK client base to continue to reduce risks within their fleets.
