ARI Fleet UK has announced the appointment of Matthew Hayesman to the newly created role of vehicle acquisition manager for the company’s Complete division.

In his new role, Hayesman will report to Complete director, Matt Cranny and will be tasked with developing the team’s product knowledge and build relationships with key partners in the sector and ensure the delivery of key service level agreements (SLAs) for its customer base.

Hayesman has worked in the fleet industry for more than 10 years, with a further five in vehicle insurance. Most recently, he held the position of operations team leader at ALD Automotive.

Matt Cranny, director – complete division, leasing, and supplier manager, said: “ARI’s leasing portfolio continues to grow at a phenomenal rate. This growth is a testament to our people and our investment in our leasing capabilities.

“The appointment of Matthew brings more strength in depth, knowledge and experience to our team so we can continue to innovate and deliver the best possible service to our customers.”

In May, ARI announced a major restructure in the way it offers fleet management services, following the expansion of its leasing portfolio.

The firm has created separate teams within its operation Complex and Complete, providing two different fleet management solutions.

In 2020, ARI exclusively told Fleet News, it was investing in its portfolio management service, a part of both Complex and Complete products.

The Complete division delivers fleet management for businesses running vehicles that do not have such legislative and regulatory requirements but still need fleet management, data insights and SMR provision, it said.

The Complex division has been created for those where specific and bespoke management is needed for legislative and regulatory requirements, such as for O-licences, Earned Recognition and other compliance processes, and specialist procurement, service, maintenance and repair.
