Fiat has updated the Ducato for the 2020 model year, updating the range to include Euro 6d-Temp compliant engines.

The new model also features a new nine-speed automatic transmission, advanced driving assist systems, updated infotainment system and revised exterior.

Prices start at around £200 more than the outgoing version, at £24,670 (ex VAT).

All models utilise a 2.3-litre diesel engine, available with 120PS, 140PS, 160PS or 180PS.

The engine features a new turbocharger that adapts to the speed of the engine and to driving styles to provide the right performance at all times.

A new nine-speed automatic transmission is said to optimise consumption levels without compromising performance. It allows for optimum use of driving torque that reaches 450Nm on the 180PS.

All Ducato models include start-stop, smart alternator and electronically-controlled fuel pump, which provide energy savings and greater combustion efficiency.

A suite of driver assistance systems are available, including blind spot monitor, lane departure warning and autonomous emergency braking.

There is also an engine idle preset feature for operators that are adding additional equipment to the vehicle.

The new infotainment system has a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and DAB.  Drivers can also programme the vehicle’s dimensions into the satnav so it can provide routes that avoid streets which are not suitable for the size of the vehicle.
