The Chancellor has confirmed in the Finance Bill that the Government will tax the ‘package’ of benefits received by salary sacrifice drivers with their car.
The Budget was a “waste of golden opportunity” to provide clarity and stability to fleet decision-makers on future company car benefit-in-kind tax rates, says ACFO.
The Government's announcement ahead of the October 29 Budget spells bad news for EV uptake
A cross-party group of 42 Parliamentarians have countersigned a letter calling on the Chancellor to use Monday’s Budget to stimulate the uptake of electric vehicles.
The Government could introduce monthly rises in fuel duty from next year despite the Prime Minister’s promise to freeze it, says TMC.
Fleet decision-makers’ organisation ACFO will analyse what the Budget means to fleets in its autumn seminar.
ACFO is urging Chancellor Philip Hammond to announce the company car benefit-in-kind tax regime until the end of the 2024/25 financial year.
We will join with the BVRLA and ACFO to make a joint representation to Treasury ahead of the Budget. Give us your name to show your support.
