Avis Budget Group teams up with Nextgear Capital for defleet sales

Avis Budget UK has partnered with funding provider NextGear Capital to open up its off-fleet vehicle sales to a wider market.

Malcolm Fryer, head of remarketing at Avis Budget Group, said: “As part of our ongoing remarketing efforts to drive efficiency, we chose to partner with NextGear Capital to enable us to sell our well-maintained vehicles directly to dealers.

Existing NextGear Capital dealers can arrange an appointment with an Avis Budget Group Sales Manager to run through the buying process and set up a buyers account.

Current Avis Budget Group trade buyers can apply online for a NextGear Capital Stocking Plan and once approved, use it for purchases from Avis Budget Group, partner auctions or stock from other trade sources, including part exchange.

David Mercer, managing director of NextGear Capital (pictured) said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our Stocking Plan holders access to such high-quality vehicles through Avis Budget UK.”
