Alphabet has been awarded the Investors in People Silver standard, which recognises its commitment to realising the full potential of its people.

Investors in People is an accreditation for business improvement through people management, providing resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow.

Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: “Achieving the Investors in People Silver standard is something that any organisation should be truly proud of.

“It is the sign of a company which is very committed to good people management practice and we’d like to congratulate Alphabet on their achievement.”

Adam Lupton, human resources director for Alphabet said: “We are absolutely delighted to be awarded the silver standard by Investors in People at our first ever assessment.

This prestigious UK award is a globally recognised ‘mark of excellence’ in people management so it is fantastic for Alphabet to receive independent recognition of our progressive, personal approach.

“This award is the culmination of years of hard work from everyone associated with Alphabet to create a culture and environment where our employees feel fully engaged, rewarded and empowered.

“It is a particularly significant achievement for us as existing customers and potential clients understand the importance of the Investors in People standard when they are considering their strategic partner for business travel and mobility.”

He added: “The award reflects our commitment at every level of the organisation to create a high performance, customer focused business through best practices in the management and development of our employees.”
