  • The head of vans and logistics buyers at the Freight Transport Association, Mark Cartwright has worked in transport for more than 30 years and was instrumental in setting up the Van Excellence scheme, which won ‘Best New Service’ at the Fleet News Awards 2012.

  • Monica Guise, Post, Portering and Transport Manager, at the University of Birmingham has more than 20 years’ experience in logistics and is considered an environmental leader – the University of Birmingham runs hydrogen, electric and diesel vehicles.

  • Phil Clifford has been in public sector fleet management for the past 37 years. Recently his role at St Edmundsbury Borough Council expanded to include Forest Heath District Council

  • Rob English has headed the fleet team at Honda since March. He has spent much of his career within the Volkswagen Group, including fleet roles at Audi and Škoda.

  • Val South is the latest inductee to the Fleet News Hall of Fame. She has been in fleet management for the past 35 years and was the Fleet News fleet manager of the year in 2011.

  • Danny Alborough has managed the Gratte Brothers fleet of 200 vehicles for the past eight years. He is also ACFO secretary for the London East region.

  • David Hosking has been in the contract hire and leasing industry for the past 25 years. He joined salary sacrifice specialist Tusker in 2003 as sales director, becoming CEO two years later.

  • Patrick McGillycuddy has been in the automotive industry for the past eight years with roles at GM, Peter Vardy and Vauxhall. He has been head of fleet at Skoda since August last year.

  • PricewaterhouseCoopers's head of car fleet services found out the grass isn't always greener on the other side after leaving his job as a photographer at EMI.

  • Nissan's fleet sales director is a West Ham fan whose childhood ambition was to be the bank manager at Lloyds Bank in Devizes.
