With over 40 years experience as one of the UK's leading suppliers providing high quality fresh produce to the wholesale markets, the catering industry this role will be responsible for coordinating a fleet of 35+ HGV/LGV vehicles and drivers, ensuring and maintaining compliance in all aspects of UK law.
Proven people management experience within a logistics environment - team player Logistics experience ideally with a Transport Managers CPC. You must be self-motivated and have the ability to hit and exceed targets. Excellent communication skills You must also have good customer services skills to deal day-to-day with all enquiries and cultivate relationships with customer and drivers align with operations team. You must be able to work under pressure and efficiently within time constraints Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) as well as experience using routing software. Transport experience with multi temp fleets
