Our Client has been helping organisations change and grow for over 30 years. Their commitment to remain the leading business relocation company in the UK has seen them expand their portfolio of services to match the growing needs of their customers.
They aim to be the number one choice for organisations who are relocating, reorganising or recycling, providing the very best service tailored to their customers' needs.
They are now looking to recruit a Transport Manager to join them to develop and implement a proactive, planned and structured approach to the maintenance of fleet vehicles, keeping within the designated budget and ensuring all vehicles used are fit for purpose and the customer experience is of a high standard.
Achieving world class safety and service standards through positive and proactive engagement with drivers, you will devise and implement KPI’s to track, monitor and improve performance and deliver Resource Plans by managing the safe and cost-effective utilisation of all drivers and equipment.
Previous experience within a similar role (including the maintenance of fleet Management policies and experience of FORS inc procedures) is essential and you should hold a Transport Manager’s CPC qualification. With experience of managing an Operator’s Licence and a flexible approach to your work, a background in hazardous goods and a Class 2 / Cat C licence would be beneficial but are not essential, although they do ask that candidates do have experience in managing large fleets of HGVs
