Europe's largest vehicle management company has announced it would be supplying 300 Nissan vans over 20 months to Bell Cablemedia which will be used primarily by maintenance and installation engineers. The contract also includes Lease Plan's light commercial vehicle accident management programme and LPDirect, an online customer communications systems.

Bell Cablemedia has leased and managed its car fleet through Lease Plan since 1995 and has extended the existing contract to cover light commercial vehicles in a bid to rationalise fleet management and increase cost efficiency. The new deal marks a significant move by Lease Plan into the light van sector.
