MERCEDES-Benz has introduced new models and a series of specification changes to the C-class range without increasing prices.

A brand new 5-cylinder turbodiesel engine replaces the old power unit in the existing C250. With 150bhp on tap, the engine powers the new C250 to 0-62mph in just over 10 seconds. On-the-road prices remain unchanged at £23,725 for the Classic and Esprit, £26,425 for the Elegance and £26,825 for the Sport.

The existing 2.2 litre petrol engine is replaced by a 2.3 litre unit offering more torque. The new C230 models again cost the same as their predecessors.
