Vauxhall lease deals prove popular

TWO new contract hire packages from Vauxhall Masterhire achieved strong sales success through August. 'All for 1' and '1 over 2' offer innovative ways into contract hire, and have succeeded in winning 180 contracts since the start of August.

Under the terms of '1 over 2', customers negotiate a price for a new, 1996 model year Vectra with a Vauxhall Business Centre, then pay half the sum in one instalment. This single, up-front rental covers a two years, 40,000 miles period, and includes road fund licence, all vehicle servicing and maintenance, replacement tyres, and Vauxhall Assistance with full European cover for the full two years. At the end of the contract, the customer returns the Vectra to Vauxhall Masterhire, with no more to pay; subject to fair wear and tear agreements. In this format, the contract appears as a lease, allowing customers to recover a proportion of the VAT on the rental.

'All for 1' provides a cost effective entry into contract hire for any Vauxhall product, with customers making a single down payment of one month's rental, rather than the industry standard three months up-front deposit.
