SINCE its launch in July last year Fleet News on the Net has vastly increased its content, broadened its scope, and gained a large number of avid users. Six months on it's time to reinforce the title's unique identity.

From today Fleet News on the Net becomes Fleet NewsNet (FNN for short) - a title which more accurately reflects the nature of this ever-changing information-packed internet web site.

At its launch Fleet News on the Net promised a 'new, fast-access, up-to-the-minute, electronic news, data and archive service available free to information hungry fleet managers'. From day one it has kept that promise and delivered such information 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Now, not only does the site offer the most up-to-date news, comprehensive road tests, detailed vehicle running costs, authoritative residual value information and example contract hire prices, but also a links page which directs users to all other relevant sites in the industry, in-depth vehicle recall information, an easy-to-use 'key word' search facility, up-to-date auction prices, a vast fleet directory section and, last but not least, an accurate and simple to use company car tax calculator.
