Audi recalls 50,000 in UK

AUDi is recalling an estimated 50,000 vehicles in the UK as part of a worldwide recall involving 840,000 cars due to an airbag fault. A small number of airbags have been discharged by a build-up of static electricity while stationary. No one has been injured. The recall involves cars from across the range built between 1995 and 1996 and owners will be individually notified by Audi UK.
